I was super thrilled when I learn that I was accepted with merit funding at both University of Michigan, and Carnegie Mellon University. I was so happy that I decided to laminate and frame the acceptance letters from both fine institutions(note to self: scan them first before laminating them). Too bad, my sister chose to use the letter from CMU as a coaster, and ripped off some wording off the letter(note to self: don’t put important papers around your sister). But, I was still very thrilled.
